Railway station or coach station?
Victoria is really two travel hubs a few minutes' walk apart:
- Victoria railway station, the London terminus for Southern and Gatwick Express trains, and for Southeastern services into Kent.
- Victoria Coach Station, on Buckingham Palace Road, the main hub for national and international coaches.
They're close together, but not so close that you want to walk between them with heavy bags. Tell us which one you need when you book and we'll drop you at the right place.
Heading to Gatwick via Victoria?
Many people travel to Gatwick by going into Victoria and catching the Gatwick Express. From Tolworth, that means heading north into London to then travel south again. A direct car to Gatwick is usually quicker and simpler, especially with luggage.
The drive in
Victoria is about 11 miles from Tolworth, and the drive usually takes 40 to 60 minutes through south-west London. It's inside the Congestion Charge zone, so ask us how this affects your fare when you book. For a coach or train with a fixed departure, leave some margin, as traffic around Victoria can be slow at peak times.
Arriving at Victoria
If you're coming into Victoria by train or coach, give us your arrival time and we'll meet you at an agreed point and take you home to Tolworth, Ewell, Surbiton or anywhere in our area.
